HOW TO PREPARE FOR DYSPORT
How to Prepare for Dysport
The face is the first area to show signs of aging. If you have noticed your face lacking a youthful, bright appearance, Dysport can help. Dysport is an injection that uses a safe, purified derivation of botulinum toxin type A to relax the muscles. By doing so, it diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and lines. Typically, you will notice results two to three days after the treatment.

- No aspirin, anti-inflammatory medicines, Vitamin E, or fish oil. It is best to avoid certain medications prior to receiving Dysport. The reason is the medications can increase the chance of bruising and bleeding when you are injected with the medicine.
- Incorporate greens to your diet. If you want to reduce the chance of swelling and bruising when the treatment is administered, you should eat greens. This will increase the Vitamin K in your system and work to reduce the potential for swelling and bruising.
- Do not have any facial massage, laser, or electrical treatment. Following Dysport, your face will be very sensitive. It is crucial to avoid a facial massage and placing your face in a cradle for 24 hours post-treatment. In addition, you should avoid laser and electrical treatments for two weeks after receiving Dysport.
- Maintain your appearance. If you are happy with your appearance after receiving Dysport, be sure to maintain it by coming in regularly for touch up treatments. Dysport can last three to six months.
