HOLIDAY SKINCARE ROUTINE
Holiday Skincare Routine
Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza, and New Year’s Eve are on the way! Over the next few weeks, many people will be traveling near and far via planes, trains, and cars to visit family and friends and celebrate the holidays. Traveling can be extremely stressful, especially during the high traffic period in November-January. Learn how to keep your skin glowing and holiday ready with the following tips.
Before the Trip:
- Illuminize Peel. Prep your skin for the holidays by receiving an illuminize peel, otherwise known as the red carpet peel. This treatment is ideal before any special event, including the holidays. The peel improves clarity, color, and skin texture. It also tightens the skin and creates an overall youthful and fresh look.
- Pack skin care products. Just because you are going away, doesn’t mean your skin care regimen has to go away too. Bring your products with you and be sure to pack your product in the appropriate containers if you are flying.
- Hydrate your skin. The night before you travel make sure to hydrate your skin, as air pressure in the plane cabin can be very dry.
During the Trip:
- Bring a lip balm and facial wipes. While you are traveling, your skin might become very dry. Make sure you are stocked with a lip balm and facial wipes to hydrate and cleanse your skin.
- Utilize under eye cream. Eyes can be very sensitive to travel and changing pressure. Bring an under eye cream to hydrate your eyes and refresh your face.
