Michelle - The Mommy Makeover in New Jersey

Michelle’s mommy makeover includes a tummy tuck and breast reduction. In this clip, Michelle talks about why she decided to go to Dr. Fodero after having her children. She says she wanted to get back to where she used to be. Now she feels smaller, better, and her clothes fit better!

MICHELLE: My name is Michelle, and I came to Dr. Fodero about five months after having my twin boys. They were number two and three for me, but five months after that. So I had a tummy tuck in August, and originally I came to him for a Mommy Makeover, and had the tummy tuck in August, and had the breast reduction and lift a week ago. The tummy tuck there was a little bit longer of a recover, but you know, after that the breast reduction honestly was a piece of cake. I came home after the surgery and rested for a little while and then spent some time with my family and actually helped make dinner. And probably was tired for a day or two, a little sore, but back in action a week later, and thrilled. I wanted to get back to myself, you know. I’m in the financial services industry. I’m in sales and marketing myself, so you know, you’re self-conscious about your appearance, and I wanted to get back to the way I was. So I came to Dr. Fodero with the hopes of getting what we call the Mommy Makeover, to get back to where I was, and talked with him about perhaps doing a breast reduction and lift and a tummy tuck. And we decided that it was the safest and the best way to go, was to do it in two separate parts. And I opted to do the tummy tuck first. So, after jogging and getting back in shape then losing a lot of my weight, I came back, after seeing him in July, I came back in August and had the tummy tuck, which it really exceeded my expectations. I mean I expected, you know, to get back in shape and look again, but I actually looked better than ever. I mean my stomach was tight, my waist was brought in, and I had a ton of confidence. And that helped with going back to work and getting back in the swing of things. And then when I did the breast reduction just last week, you know I was kind of iffy, you know, do I really need to do it, and, you know, was I being selfish? And I went and I did it and I’m thrilled. I feel smaller. I feel better. My clothes fit me better. I’m just more confident and more comfortable in my own skin. My total experience here with Dr. Fodero and his team has been wonderful. I’ve been to other surgeons and haven’t had as pleasant of an experience, and it was just the total package. So you know, from the front desk and the reception area, everybody’s kind and sweet, and you know, Lynn, his nurse, she’s wonderful and, you know, nurturing and always helpful and available. And then Dr. Fodero, he’s just—he’s a happy guy, and he’s wonderful to work with. So I’d have to say it’s just the total package. You know the results are great, but, you know, you’re happy to come here and you actually look forward to coming to visit or for a follow-up. I’ve recommended four people already for surgeries, and I just feel confident in the results, in the way that my friends will be treated, and, again, the total package of what they’ll receive.
